From 17 to 21 February Accentus Music will be present at the IMZ Avant Première Music and Media Market in Berlin.
This year, Accentus Music – together with the Gothenburg Symphony and Barbara Hannigan, who will also be present – will be hosting a special presentation on Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 pm of the new documentary film project Barbara Hannigan – Taking Risks. The film follows Hannigan as she prepares herself for her first opera production as a conductor of Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress and recruits the cast of singers through a personal selection process. This opera production is the start of her new project Equilibrium.
Visitors to Avant Première will be able to find Accentus Music in the booth area. The screening of the trailer will be held on Tuesday between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
