Viva Verdi – A Celebration Gala at NCPA in Beijing
Celebrating Verdi’s bi-centenary, the spectacular National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing hosted a unique Gala Concert, produced by Accentus Music: An international cast of renowned European and Chinese singers and the NCPA orchestra under the baton of its principal conductor Lu Jia presented a wide selection of Verdi opera classics. “Viva Verdi” was directed and staged by the multi talented Verdi specialist Hugo de Ana, acclaimed for exquisite scenery sets as well as for his extraordinary lighting design.
