This Sunday, 18 December, at 23h05, Arte will broadcast Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem (Libera Me) premiered on the 3rd of December at the Opernhaus Zurich. In a large-scale co-production by the Zurich Ballet and Opera, the German choreographer and director Christian Spuck brought an overwhelming interpretation of Verdi’s Requiem to the stage.
Fabio Luisi conducts the Philharmonia Zürich, the Opera choir, and the outstanding soloists Krassimira Stoyanova, Veronica Simeoni, Francesco Meli and Georg Zeppenfeld.
