Saturday, January 20, 2024, marks the tenth anniversary of Claudio Abbado’s death.
He founded the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in 2003. The concerts with his “Orchestra of Friends” remain unforgettable. Our last recordings with him in Lucerne were made between 2010 and 2013, including the multi-award-winning Mahler 9 from 2010.
Claudio Abbado’s last concerts in August 2013 were produced by Accentus Music for TV and DVD (Brahms | Schönberg | Beethoven) and for CD (Bruckner 9). The video recordings are available on DVD and Blu-ray as well as on demand. The Bruckner 9 is available on CD and digitally.
