We have started to film our new documentary „Broken Music“ (WT), directed by Marita Stocker, about the Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School in Tbilisi, Georgia. There was hardly a great Georgian musician who didn’t break into the world of music via the eye of the needle of the Paliashvili. But the glorious history of the school is faced with extinction: the building itself is in danger of falling apart and the current teachers are over 80 years old. Here are some first impressions:
