J. S. Bach: The Six Brandenburg Concertos
Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Brandenburg Concertos” rank among the most popular works of Baroque music, on par with Antonio Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons.” Marking their 300th anniversary in 2021, Accentus Music recorded all six Brandenburg Concertos in Köthen Castle’s restored Hall of Mirrors, the location where the works were originally composed and premiered. Collegium 1704, founded by Václav Luks in 2005, is one of the most renowned ensembles of our time specializing in baroque music performed on historical instruments.
